Good Afternoon Hoe Street
As we move into the colder months and the nights become longer and darker, we'd like to remind everyone to take a few simple steps to stay safe and look out for one another.
With Halloween and Bonfire Night just around the corner, many families and young people will be out enjoying local events and celebrations. If you're heading out, please make sure children are supervised where appropriate, wear bright or reflective clothing when walking near roads, and take extra care when crossing in poor visibility.
If you're celebrating Bonfire Night, please attend organised displays where possible. If using fireworks at home, follow the safety instructions, keep spectators at a safe distance, and be mindful of neighbours, pets, and vulnerable residents who may be affected by loud noises.
As the evenings get darker, please also consider: Checking in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours during periods of colder weather.
These events should be enjoyable for everyone, and a little extra care can help keep our communities safe.
Thank you for your continued support.
Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween and Bonfire Night
